I remember reading a report about the making of this commercial for Honda when I was in the US for a project whilst working for Draftfcb. The story goes that the agency and the production company exchanged faxes for months each trying to outdo each other. Eventually they had a complete story and went into production. Some people believe that this was done with computer graphics which is not true. Everything you see is real and was shot live. The TV Commercial has been shown a lot around the world but I think the beauty of the production and the original idea of, “Isn’t it nice when things just work.” Is amazing.
