Let's talk about leadership and how it pertains to you as a drinkACT dealer,and to your entire organization as a business entity. Real leadership brings an old Chinese proverb to mind:
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
The most important thing a field leader can pass along to a new recruit is . As a leader, you should be able to recruit and train others for success in home business. A simpler explanation is to say you can duplicate yourself.
Dealers with self-serving agendas or massive egos are using the Internet claiming they offer quality leadership, and are your best chance for success, when in fact they know very little when it comes to recruiting and training on the Internet. This is confusing to new dealers.
Experience has taught us over the years that if you don't show a new dealer the clear cut path to getting results and building a check in their first 30 days, they will drop away. Busy people who work to supplement their income don't have time to sit and socialize on the forums in cyberspace. When we teach a new recruit to be productive using clear steps on how to order product, set up their business, prepare their samples, follow up enthusiastically, etc., we are teaching this new person to fish! When we send them to forums with varying opinions, (many not valid as the person making the statements have no Internet marketing skills) we only tend to confuse and overwhelm the new person.
