Much of Sony Playstations advertising sails pretty close to the wind and is usually extremely creative. The shocking and humorous style often hits the target audience perfectly. I remember seeing this ad and thought how clever it was. A modern day dual for civilized folk. A great look into our history and how we may solve our problems now. How you can imagine two people of any age walking up and picking out a joystick to do combat with a partner. I like this because it appeals to the competitor and harp on about the addictive, can’t live without direction I feel a lot of their advertising does. I think this is a very insightful piece of communication.
